Personalized Bags, Totes and Carriers
BAGS is the HansonEllis category for personalized bags, grouped by the job the bag has to do: shoulder, tote and jute bags; cosmetic and toiletry bags; suit bags, backpacks and messenger bags; coolers, picnic and outdoor bags; and wine tote bags and beverage carriers. It is used for bridal party and groomsmen gifts, teacher and staff appreciation, travel and commuting, weekend picnics and company giveaways. Bags are personalized in-house by HansonEllis with a name, initials or a monogram, and there is no minimum order, so you can order a single bag or one for every person on a list.
What you will find in BAGS
- Shoulder + Tote + Jute Bags the everyday carriers — shoulder bags, canvas and jute totes — for bridesmaid gifts, teacher gifts, market and beach days, and anywhere a name or monogram makes the bag easy to tell apart.
- Cosmetic + Toiletry Bags the small zip cases that travel inside a larger bag, for bridal party gifts, a getting-ready morning, gym bags and overnight trips.
- Suit Bags + Backpacks + Messenger the travel and work group — garment and suit bags for keeping a suit or dress uncreased, plus backpacks and messenger bags for commuting, school and business travel.
- Coolers + Picnic + Outdoors insulated cooler bags and picnic carriers for tailgates, beach and park days, team events and company outings where a personalized bag doubles as the gift and the packaging.
- Wine Tote Bags + Beverage Carriers single and multi-bottle totes and carriers for host gifts, housewarmings and vineyard weddings, where you supply the bottle and the tote carries the names and the date.
How to choose
There are 81 pieces across the five bag groups. Pick the group by what goes inside the bag and how far it travels, then personalize it with the recipient's name or initials.
| A tote or shoulder bag | Choose it for daily carrying and for gifts given in numbers — bridal party, teachers, staff, event attendees. A monogram or first name on a tote makes it personal without being occasion-specific. |
|---|---|
| A cosmetic or toiletry bag | Choose it when the gift should be small, useful and easy to ship, or when you are giving the same thing to several people and want each one named. |
| A suit bag, backpack or messenger bag | Choose these for travel, commuting and business use, or as a groomsmen gift where the suit has to arrive at the venue in one piece. |
| A cooler or picnic bag | Choose it for outdoor events, tailgates and company outings, especially when you want one gift that carries food and drink rather than a keepsake that gets stored. |
| A wine tote or beverage carrier | Choose it when the bag is the wrapping for a bottle you are giving — a host gift, a housewarming, or a thank-you for parents and attendants at a wedding. |
Ordering BAGS for weddings and events
Personalized bags are a common bulk order for weddings, schools, teams and company events, and there is no minimum order, so you can buy the exact number you need. Order the total quantity first, then email your list to [email protected] after ordering if each bag should carry a different name or set of initials — one per bridesmaid, per teacher or per attendee. Company logos are handled by custom order: send a vector file (.eps, .ai, .cdr, .pdf or .svg) or a high-resolution image to [email protected]; a logo setup fee applies and not every logo can be reproduced. Standard production is 5–10 business days, rush 3–5 and expedite 1–3, plus 2–5 days US shipping. Order 3–6 months ahead for a wedding. For bulk pricing, please contact [email protected].
Questions shoppers ask about BAGS
What kinds of personalized bags are available?
Five groups: shoulder, tote and jute bags; cosmetic and toiletry bags; suit bags, backpacks and messenger bags; coolers, picnic and outdoor bags; and wine tote bags and beverage carriers. There are 81 pieces across the category.
How are the bags personalized?
They are personalized in-house by HansonEllis, which has been doing this since 1999. Enter the name, initials or monogram in the personalization field on the product page you choose. The listing for each bag shows what can be added to it.
Is there a minimum order for personalized bags?
No. There is no minimum order, so you can buy one bag for one person or order enough for a whole bridal party, class, team or staff.
Can each bag have a different name on it?
Yes. Order the full quantity, then email the list of names or initials to [email protected] after ordering so it can be matched to your order.
How long does a personalized bag take to arrive?
Standard production is 5–10 business days, then 2–5 days shipping in the US. Rush production is 3–5 days and expedite is 1–3 days if you need the bags sooner.
Can I put a company logo on the bags?
Yes, by custom order. Email a vector file (.eps, .ai, .cdr, .pdf or .svg) or a high-resolution image to [email protected]. A logo setup fee applies and not every logo can be reproduced, so send the artwork before you plan the order.
Which bag makes the best bridesmaid or groomsmen gift?
A tote or cosmetic bag for bridesmaids, and a suit bag, backpack or messenger bag for groomsmen. Both groups take a first name or monogram, which is what turns a set of identical bags into individual gifts.
Can I see a proof before the bag is personalized?
Yes. Proofs are optional on request for a $35-55 service fee per proof, and a proof adds days to production. Changes after a proof carry a $40 minimum updating fee, so confirm the spelling first. Customer Support is 310-878-9429.
Do you ship bags outside the US?
International shipping is by request. The cart calculates US shipping only and international orders cannot be rushed, so email [email protected] for a quote. US orders ship insured by UPS, FedEx or USPS with tracking emailed to you.
Can I return a personalized bag?
Personalized bags are made to order and are final sale unless defective. Non-personalized bags can be returned within 14 days.
