Custom Etched Natural Jade Stone Paper Weight Rocks
One evident importance of the jade stone is virtue or purification. Furthermore, because jade is viewed as a stone that protects and supports loving heart energy, it symbolizes tenderness and sustenance. Handing a guest a piece of jade with your names etched into it says something a printed card never will.
Bring the peace and tranquility of the garden to your event with our 'Jade Rocks' Paper Weight Rock. These rocks can be engraved with a message of your choosing, sure to earn a place on your guest's mantelpiece or a place of honor out in the garden. Add names and a date for a wedding memento or a meaningful message to create a special keepsake. Complete the personalization by adding great phrases like 'You Rock!' or 'Set in Stone.' Your guests are sure to treasure the stones forever.
The etching is done in-house by HansonEllis, which has been personalizing gifts since 1999. Each Custom Etched Natural Jade Stone Paper Weight Rock is roughly 2+" to 3+" wide, so it sits in a palm with real weight to it and holds down a stack of papers without sliding around. The etched line reads pale against the stone and catches the light when the rock is turned.
Given these are 100% natural stones, please be aware the color will vary as no two stones will ever be the same. Each stone is unique in size, shape and may include natural markings, flecks, or grayish colored lines that go throughout the stone. That variation is the quiet pleasure of the thing. The guest who picks up a stone at their place setting is holding one that exists nowhere else, marked with your names and your date.
Set one at every seat for a beach or garden wedding, hand them out at a retreat or a company milestone, or keep a single etched stone on your own desk. Short is best here: the etching area holds one line of up to 10 characters, room enough for two first names, a date or a phrase that lands.
Add your etching text above, choose your quantity, and give your guests something they will still be turning over in their hands years from now.

Which one should I choose
Shoppers looking at natural stone favors usually weigh the jade stones against the other engraved stones and against a paper favor.
| Custom Etched Natural Jade Stone Paper Weight Rocks | Choose these when the meaning of the stone matters as much as the message, and you want the deeper natural color and symbolism of jade behind your names and date. |
|---|---|
| Engraved natural stone paper weight rocks | Choose the plainer polished stones when you want the same etched keepsake without the jade symbolism, and you like a lighter, more neutral stone on the table. |
| A printed paper favor or card | Choose it only if the favor is meant to be read once; it will not sit on a mantelpiece or in a garden the way an etched stone does. |
For a beach or garden wedding where you want guests to keep the favor, the etched jade stone is the one that survives the drive home and keeps its place on a desk.

What color is the jade and will my stones all look the same?
No two stones will ever be the same. The color varies from stone to stone, and a stone may include natural markings, flecks or grayish colored lines that run throughout it. That natural variation is part of the character of the stone.
How many characters can I have etched on a jade stone?
One line of up to 10 characters, counting spaces and punctuation. A short phrase such as You Rock! fits comfortably; longer phrases need to be shortened or run together to stay inside the line.
How are the stones personalized?
They are etched in-house by HansonEllis, which has been personalizing gifts since 1999. Type your text into the personalization field on this page and it is cut into the polished surface of the stone.
Is this sold as one stone or as a set?
The listing is priced per stone, so order the quantity you need. Couples often order one per guest for a beach or garden wedding, while a single etched stone works as a keepsake on its own.
Can each stone have a different name on it?
Yes. Order the full quantity you need, then email your list of names to [email protected] after ordering so it can be matched to your order.
Can I put a company logo on a jade paper weight?
Logos are handled as a custom order. Email a vector file (.eps, .ai, .cdr, .pdf or .svg) or a high-resolution image to [email protected]; a logo setup fee applies and not every logo can be reproduced on a natural stone.
Can I see a proof before the stones are etched?
Proofs are optional and available on request for a $35-55 service fee per proof, and a proof adds extra days to production. Changes after a proof has been sent carry a $40 minimum updating fee, so check your 10 characters carefully before ordering. Ask in your order notes or call Customer Support at 310-878-9429.
Is there a minimum order?
No, there is no minimum order. Order a single stone or one for every guest. For bulk pricing, please contact [email protected].
How long does it take to get engraved jade stones?
Standard production is 5 to 10 business days, then 2 to 5 days shipping within the US. Rush production (3 to 5 days) and expedite (1 to 3 days) are available. For a wedding, order 3 to 6 months ahead when you can.
Do you ship the jade stone paper weights internationally?
International shipping is available by request. The shopping cart calculates US shipping only, international orders cannot be rushed, and you can email [email protected] for a quote.
Can I return an etched jade stone?
Personalized items are made to order and are final sale unless they arrive defective. Non-personalized items can be returned within 14 days. Natural color and shape variation is a feature of the stone, not a defect.
