Engraved "Solid as a Rock" Slate ID Slate with Wooden Clothespin
The Engraved "Solid as a Rock" Slate ID Slate with Wooden Clothespin is a small rustic rectangle of slate, about 2.5"W x 1.5"H, engraved in-house with whatever you want on it and paired with a wooden clothespin. It is the rare wedding detail that does two jobs at once: it seats your guests, and then it goes home in a pocket as a keepsake that will last a lifetime filled with memories.
The slate itself is the reason it works. Against linen, wood or greenery, engraved stone reads as natural and unfussy rather than printed and temporary, and the wooden clothespin gives it a job at the table: it grips a napkin, a menu card or the neck of a favor bag, or props the slate up at each place setting so guests can find their names at a glance. Up to three lines of 16 characters are engraved on each one, which is room for a guest name, a table number underneath, or a short line of your own.
Guest names are the most common use, but the slates are just as good carrying the bride and groom's names and the wedding date, a table number, or a favorite quote. "Solid as a Rock" is the line the design was named for, and it is a good one for a marriage, a friendship, a father, a coach or a company that has been through something together.
Order one per guest and the slates do the work of place cards, escort cards and favors in a single piece, which is one less thing to buy and one less thing to set out. Every slate can carry a different name: place your order for the full quantity and email the list to [email protected] afterwards. For bulk pricing, please contact [email protected].
Guests forget the printed card at their seat by the end of the night. They keep the stone.
Add your engraving text above, choose your quantity, and give every seat a name worth taking home.

|---|---|
| Printed paper place cards | Choose them only when the table is formal and printed, and the favors are being handled separately. |
| A favor with no guest name on it | Choose it when seating is open and guests do not need to be placed. |
