Assorted Printed Handmade Origami Paper Fortune Cookies
Bring a sense of the grand mysteries of the Far East to your party or special event with these delicately beautiful Origami Paper Fortune Cookies. Each favor is made from hearty yet gorgeously patterned origami paper and folded by hand into the unmistakable curl of a fortune cookie, so guests recognize it in an instant and still pick it up to work out how it was made. At 2.5"L it is the right size for a napkin, a place card, the top of a favor bag or a bowl by the door, and small enough that a guest slips it into a pocket without thinking about it.
Because these are assorted, they come in many colors and patterns, which makes them a unique and special gift for your guests. A table scattered with them looks like confetti rather than a row of identical boxes, and the paper does most of your decorating for you. The gorgeous and ancient art of paper folding is doing the work: the crisp folds, the printed pattern catching the light, and the shape that has always stood for good luck. Hand one to every guest and you are passing luck around the room, to you and yours.
Add the imprinted ribbon and the favor becomes unmistakably yours. The ribbon is foil imprinted with your names or a short phrase on one line and your event date or a second short phrase on another, in bright metallic lettering that reads cleanly across the ribbon. That is the dash of personalization that turns a pretty paper cookie into a favor from your wedding, your Lunar New Year table or your company party, foil imprinted in-house by HansonEllis, which has personalized gifts since 1999.
They are perfect for themed parties, big gatherings, or even just as mementos for friends: an Asian fusion reception, a bridal shower, a milestone birthday, a graduation lunch, a restaurant opening or an office celebration where you want something small, handmade and a little bit lucky in front of every seat. The favors guests quietly leave on the table are the ones that had nothing to say; a fortune cookie goes home.
Add your ribbon imprint text above, choose your quantity, and give every guest a fortune to carry out the door.

Which one should I choose
Most shoppers choosing a favor for an Asian themed table are weighing a folded paper fortune cookie against the edible version or a printed box.
| Assorted Printed Handmade Origami Paper Fortune Cookies | Choose them when the favor should be handmade, keep its shape and go home with the guest, with your wording on an imprinted ribbon. |
|---|---|
| Edible fortune cookies | Choose them when the favor is meant to be eaten at the table that night and nothing needs to survive the evening. |
| Printed paper favor boxes | Choose them when the favor is really a container for something else, such as candy or almonds, rather than the gift itself. |
If you want the table to look handmade and the favor to leave with the guest, the folded origami fortune cookie is the one that does both.

Questions shoppers ask about the Assorted Printed Handmade Origami Paper Fortune Cookies
How big are the origami paper fortune cookies?
Each one is 2.5"L, which is about the size of a real fortune cookie. It sits on a napkin or a place card without crowding the setting.
Are these real fortune cookies you can eat?
No. They are folded from origami paper into the shape of a fortune cookie. The cookie is the paper, which is why it lasts as a keepsake rather than disappearing at the table.
What colors and patterns will I get?
They are assorted, so they arrive in many colors and patterns rather than as one matched color. That mix is what gives a table its scattered, confetti look.
How are the Origami Paper Fortune Cookies personalized?
Personalization is added on a separate imprinted ribbon rather than on the paper. The ribbon is foil imprinted in-house in silver or gold with up to 21 characters on each of two lines.
Is there a minimum for the imprinted ribbon?
The foil imprinted ribbon carries a stated minimum of 60. The fortune cookies themselves have no minimum order. For bulk pricing, please contact [email protected].
Can each ribbon say something different?
Yes. Place the full quantity you need, then email your list to [email protected] after ordering so it can be matched to your order.
Can you imprint our company logo on the ribbon?
Logos are handled as a custom order. Email a vector file (.eps, .ai, .cdr, .pdf or .svg) or a high-resolution image to [email protected]; a logo setup fee applies and not every logo can be reproduced.
Can I see a proof before the ribbons are imprinted?
Proofs are optional and available on request for a $35-55 service fee per proof, and a proof adds extra days to production. Changes after a proof carry a $40 minimum updating fee, so check your wording before ordering or call Customer Support at 310-878-9429.
How long will my order take?
Standard production is 5 to 10 business days, plus 2 to 5 days shipping within the US. Rush production is 3 to 5 days and expedite is 1 to 3 days. For a wedding, order 3 to 6 months ahead when you can.
Do you ship these favors internationally?
International shipping is available by request. The cart calculates US shipping only and international orders cannot be rushed, so email [email protected] for a quote.
Can I return them?
Personalized items are made to order and are final sale unless defective. Fortune cookies ordered without the imprinted ribbon can be returned within 14 days.
What occasions suit origami paper fortune cookies best?
Asian and Lunar New Year themed events, weddings and bridal showers, milestone birthdays, graduations and company celebrations. Anywhere a small handmade favor at every seat does more than a printed card.
