Glass Frog Prince W/ Poem & Gift Box*
Inside she will discover a magical miniature glass frog prince wearing a golden rimmed crown.
Make your girlfriends' dreams come true in a box. Inside this satin-cushioned box with a blue filigree design, you will discover a magical miniature glass frog prince wearing a golden rimmed crown. A charming poem is also included, and it is the poem that turns a small glass figure into the gift people laugh at, keep on the shelf, and quote back to you years later.
The Glass Frog Prince works because it manages to say the kind thing and the funny thing at the same time. Every single friend has been told to be patient. Every one of them has heard that the right person is out there somewhere. Hand her a tiny crowned frog on a satin cushion and all of that is said without a lecture: the prince is on his way, and in the meantime here is a stand-in with excellent posture and a golden rimmed crown.
It arrives ready to give. The box is the presentation, cushioned in satin and finished with a blue filigree design, and the poem is tucked in with the frog prince, so there is nothing to assemble and nothing to write. Lift the lid and the gift explains itself. Afterwards the glass catches the light wherever she puts it, on a desk at the office, a windowsill, a bathroom shelf or a nightstand.
That makes it one of the easiest gifts on the list. Give it to the best friend who is dating again, to a bridesmaid at the bridal shower, to a daughter who grew up on fairy tales, to a roommate on Valentine's Day, or as the small wrapped thing that gets opened first at a birthday. It is equally good as a desk mascot for anyone who likes to be reminded that patience and a sense of humor go together.
HansonEllis has been in the gift business since 1999, and this is one of the pieces that needs no personalizing at all. It ships exactly as described, poem and box included.
Choose your quantity and send it to the friend who is still kissing frogs.
Although someday your prince will come,
You don't know when or who!
So 'til the day he comes your way,
This prince will have to do.

Which one should I choose
This is a gift chosen for what it says rather than what it does, so the honest comparison is with the other things people give to make the same point.
| Glass Frog Prince with poem | Choose it when the message should still be on her shelf next year: a crowned glass frog on a satin cushion, with the poem doing the talking. |
|---|---|
| A funny greeting card | Choose it when the joke only needs to last an evening; the card is read once and then it is gone. |
| A plain glass figurine with no poem | Choose it as decoration; without the verse it is pretty, but it does not say anything to the person receiving it. |
For a friend who needs a laugh and a keepsake in the same small box, the Glass Frog Prince and its poem do both.
