7-in-1 Mini Wood Desktop Game Board Set*
The 7-in-1 Mini Wood Desktop Game Board Set is a whole game cupboard folded into a case that sits on a side table. Set includes game boards, on both sides of the lid, and game pieces for checkers, chess, and backgammon, 28 dominoes, a cribbage board and pegs, a standard deck of cards, four dice, and an instruction booklet. All components store neatly in a wooden case measuring 11.0"W x 11.0"L x 2.0"H.
The lid is the clever part. It carries a playing surface on each face, so the box the pieces live in is also the board they are played on. Lift it off, turn it over, and the evening changes game. Dominoes, cribbage pegs, cards and dice wait underneath, which means nothing has to be hunted out of three different closets and nothing ends up in a split cardboard box with a knight missing by the second summer.
Think about the rooms this belongs in. The rental cabin on the afternoon the rain sets in. The hotel suite the morning of the wedding, when the groomsmen are dressed two hours early and need something to do with their hands. Sunday at a grandfather's table, where cribbage was taught and is still being lost. A desk at the office that quietly becomes the place people gather around at five o'clock.
Both sides of the lid can be personalized in-house by HansonEllis, which has been personalizing gifts since 1999. Each side takes up to 48 characters on a single line, which is room for two full names and a date, a team and a year, or the kind of line a best man never lives down. That wording is what turns a game set into a gift, because somebody reads it out loud every single time the lid comes off.
Add your personalization text above, choose your quantity, and give something that gets opened again every time people are together.

Which one should I choose
The real choice is between one game played well, seven games in a case that stays out, and a board that gets folded away and forgotten.
| 7-in-1 Mini Wood Desktop Game Board Set | Choose it when the gift has to suit a whole group: checkers, chess, backgammon, dominoes, cribbage, cards and dice in one personalized wooden case that doubles as the board. |
|---|---|
| A single-game travel set | Choose it when you know the person only ever plays one game and wants the best possible version of that one. |
| A folding cardboard board game | Choose it when the set is for one afternoon and nobody minds a missing piece next year. |
For a gift that gets used on more than one night, the 7-in-1 Mini Wood Desktop Game Board Set is the safer pick, because everyone at the table finds a game they already know how to play.
