Silver Metal Helicopter Office Mini Desk Clock
This silver helicopter desk clock will make a great addition to your home or office. It makes a unique gift for birthdays, holidays, retirements, and other special occasions, and it does what most desk gifts never manage: it earns its square inch of desk. A framed certificate gets read once. A paperweight gets pushed aside. A small clock gets looked at twenty times a day, and every one of those glances lands on the person who gave it.
The silver helicopter mini desk clock is made of zinc alloy rather than plastic, with the rotor, the tail and the skids worked into the shape and a small clock face set into the body. Movement type is Japanese Quartz and the battery is included, so it keeps time from the moment it comes out of the box. At approximately 3.25" long, 1.8" high and 1.25" wide, it is a genuine miniature. It sits beside a monitor stand or on a shelf of aviation books without taking the space a full desk clock would demand.
The personalization is a single character. One letter, engraved in-house by HansonEllis, which has been personalizing gifts since 1999. That restraint is the point on a piece this size: an initial reads as a maker's mark on a small silver object, where a whole sentence would only crowd it. Choose the initial of a first name, a surname, or the squadron, company or call sign everyone already uses.
It is the gift for the pilot in the family, the flight instructor, the air ambulance crew member, the aviation enthusiast who has read every book on the shelf behind him, and the colleague retiring after a career spent looking at the sky. It also quietly solves the hardest gift category there is, which is the man or woman who buys themselves everything they want the moment they want it.
This is a pre-order item, so your order ships when it becomes available. Add your initial above, choose your quantity, and Customer Support at 310-878-9429 or [email protected] can give you the current availability date.

Initial ideas for your helicopter clock
- The first initial of the recipient's first name, the most common choice.
- A surname initial, which reads more formally on a retirement gift.
- A company or squadron initial for a corporate or unit gift.
- The initial of a nickname or call sign everyone at work already uses.
- No engraving at all, if you would rather keep the silver clean.
Which one should I choose
Shoppers buying an aviation desk gift are usually choosing between a working novelty clock, a model with no function, and a traditional engraved award.
| Silver Metal Helicopter Office Mini Desk Clock | Choose it when the gift should sit on a working desk and be used daily: a zinc alloy helicopter with a Japanese Quartz movement and one engraved initial. |
|---|---|
| A display-only helicopter model | Choose that when the recipient wants scale detail on a shelf rather than something that tells the time. |
| An engraved plaque or award | Choose that when the occasion calls for a full inscription; this clock takes one character only. |
If the gift needs to be used rather than displayed, the helicopter mini desk clock is the pick; if it needs a long inscription, choose a piece with a larger engraving area.

Questions shoppers ask about the Silver Metal Helicopter Office Mini Desk Clock
How big is the Silver Metal Helicopter Office Mini Desk Clock?
Approximately 3.25" long, 1.8" high and 1.25" wide. It is a mini desk clock, small enough to sit beside a monitor or on a bookshelf.
What is it made of?
Zinc alloy, finished in silver.
Is it a working clock, and does it need a battery?
Yes, it is a working clock with a Japanese Quartz movement, and the battery is included.
How is it personalized and how much text can it take?
It is engraved in-house by HansonEllis and the personalization is a single character. That means one initial, not a name, a date or a message.
Why only one character?
The clock is a miniature at around 3.25" long, so the engraving area takes one letter. On a piece this small a single initial reads cleanly where a full line would not.
Can I order it without engraving?
Yes. Leave the personalization field unselected and the clock arrives plain.
This says pre-order. When will it ship?
It is a pre-order item, so the order ships when the clock becomes available. For the current availability date, contact Customer Support at 310-878-9429 or email [email protected] before ordering.
Can I have a company logo on it instead?
A logo is handled as a custom order and is limited by the size of the piece. Email a vector file (.eps, .ai, .cdr, .pdf or .svg) or a high-resolution image to [email protected]; a logo setup fee applies and not every logo can be engraved.
Can I order several with a different initial on each?
Yes. Order the full quantity you need, then email your list of initials to [email protected] after ordering so each clock can be matched to the right person.
Can I see a proof of the engraving first?
Yes. Proofs are optional and available on request for a $35-55 service fee per proof, and a proof adds extra days to production. Changes after a proof has been sent carry a $40 minimum updating fee, so confirm the initial before ordering. Ask in the order notes or call Customer Support at 310-878-9429.
Is there a minimum order, and how long does personalization take?
There is no minimum order. Standard production is 5 to 10 business days plus 2 to 5 days US shipping, with rush at 3 to 5 days and expedite at 1 to 3 days, on top of the pre-order availability date. For bulk pricing, please contact [email protected].
Can I return it, and do you ship internationally?
Engraved clocks are made to order and are final sale unless defective; an unengraved clock can be returned within 14 days. International shipping is by request, the cart calculates US shipping only and international orders cannot be rushed, so email [email protected] for a quote.
