Crystal Office Globe Name Plate & Silver Pen Set
The Crystal Office Globe Name Plate & Silver Pen Set is a single pen holder constructed with an etched concave globe, set into a crystal base that doubles as a name plate. Two things every working desk needs, built as one piece: the name facing the visitor, the pen facing the person who sits there.
The globe is the detail people notice. It is etched into the concave area of the base rather than perched on top of it, so the piece stays low and clean at approximately 5"L x 3"W x .75"H, with the pen rising out of the crystal and the world quietly set beneath it. Light moves through the base and catches the etched lines, which is why a crystal set like this reads as considered rather than corporate.
The engraving is done in-house by HansonEllis, which has been personalizing gifts since 1999. You have up to 18 characters on each of two lines, which is the format a name plate wants: a full name on the first line and a title, a department or a company on the second. Marcus Bell above Regional Director. Elena Vasquez above President & CEO. An award line such as Employee of the Year above the year it was won.
That is what separates this set from a trophy. A trophy announces one afternoon and then sits on a shelf collecting dust; a name plate is in use every day, and a pen set is picked up a dozen times before lunch. Give it for a promotion, a new office, a work anniversary, a retirement or a sales milestone and the recognition stays in front of the person who earned it rather than behind them.
It works just as well outside the office. A crystal globe suits anyone whose work reaches past their own desk: a teacher, a principal, a coach, a doctor, a consultant, a graduate with a first professional title to put on something solid. And it makes a strong gift for a parent, because a name plate is one of the few gifts that tells someone you are proud of what they do for a living.
Add your engraving text above, choose your quantity, and give a desk piece that is used, not displayed.

Which one should I choose
The choice here is usually between recognition that gets displayed and recognition that gets used.
| Crystal Office Globe Name Plate & Silver Pen Set | Choose it when the gift should work as the desk name plate and the pen stand at once, with a name above a title on two engraved lines. |
|---|---|
| A crystal award or trophy | Choose it when the moment on stage is the point. It marks the achievement but nothing on it is used the following week. |
| A plain engraved desk name plate | Choose it when you only need the title on show. This set adds the etched crystal globe and a pen the recipient reaches for all day. |
For a promotion, a retirement or an employee award, the crystal globe name plate and pen set earns its desk space twice over, which is why it outlasts a trophy.

Questions shoppers ask about the Crystal Office Globe Name Plate & Silver Pen Set

What exactly comes in the set?
It is a single pen holder with a silver pen, built on a crystal base with a globe etched into the concave area. The base is what carries your engraving.
Is the globe etched or is it a separate piece?
The globe is etched into the concave area of the crystal base, so nothing sticks up beside the pen and the piece keeps a clean profile.
How is it personalized, and how much text fits?
It is engraved in-house by HansonEllis. You can use up to 18 characters per line on up to two lines, which is 36 characters in total including spaces.
