Silver Metal Movable Race Car Gear Shift Mini Desk Clock*
Rev up your decor with this cool collectible clock, perfectly designed in the shape of a sporty car 5-speed stick shift gearbox. The Silver Metal Movable Race Car Gear Shift Mini Desk Clock is crafted from sturdy metal and features black numerals, capturing the essence of a classic or sporty gear shift knob and making it a standout addition to any desk at home or the office.
The knob is the part everyone reaches for. It can be shifted through the gears and left in any gear you desire, which adds an interactive and fun element to a decorative piece. Leave it in fifth for the week ahead, drop it into first on a Monday morning, or park it in neutral and let whoever picks it up decide. It is the rare desk accessory a visitor touches before they say anything about it.
Constructed from durable metal, this clock is built to last while maintaining its sleek and stylish appearance, and it includes a reliable quality quartz movement for accurate timekeeping behind those black numerals. At an approximate 2-3/8" x 3" x 3" it claims almost no space on a desk, a shelf, a bookcase or a workshop bench, and it has the cool, solid weight that only metal gives.
Engraved in-house by HansonEllis, personalizing gifts since 1999, with up to 10 characters: a first name, a nickname, a racing number or a short line such as "Shift Fast". That is what turns a collectible into his, and it is why the Silver Metal Movable Race Car Gear Shift Mini Desk Clock works so well for the car enthusiast who appreciates classic or sporty gear shift knobs, for office and home decor that starts a conversation, and for collectors of unique timepieces and automotive memorabilia.
It is an ideal gift for birthdays, holidays and special occasions, for Father's Day, for a graduate setting up a first desk, for a retirement, and for the mechanic, dealer or driving instructor who has every tool but nothing personal on the shelf.

Which one should I choose
Shoppers buying for a car lover usually weigh this novelty gearbox clock against an ordinary desk clock or another automotive keepsake.
| Silver Metal Movable Race Car Gear Shift Mini Desk Clock | Choose it when the gift should be picked up and played with: a metal 5-speed gearbox with a knob that shifts and a quartz clock inside, engraved with a name. |
|---|---|
| A plain desk clock | Choose it when the only job is telling time; it will not start a conversation or say anything about the person it sits with. |
| A model car or automotive figurine | Choose it for pure display; the gear shift clock does the same job on the shelf and also tells the time. |
For a car enthusiast's desk, the engraved gear shift clock is the piece that gets handled, shifted and asked about.
