Do you know what Season you are in?

Do you know what Season you are in?

Just like the lyrics of the song made famous way back in 1965 by The Byrds titled “Turn, turn, turn”, it sings about how there is a time for everything.  A time to be born, a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to uproot. Though this song hit national popularity well over 50 years ago, its’ lyrics still holds true in today’s time.  If we take a look closer at the lyrics and its meaning, we can begin to understand and accept circumstances in our lives and why things happen.

Wellness starts by understanding and accepting that everything has its time and place.  If we can let go of our control over every detail of our lives, we can begin to see the beauty that really exist in the world.  It is when we lose something of value or let it go, we see signs of hope and beauty starting to manifest itself in our surroundings and the people we encounter.  If we cannot do this then, we will always be chasing after the “why” and never be satisfied with the answer we are given.

Examine what season you are in.  Is it a time to build out something new, a time to toss out what is not working, a time to mourn what you have lost or time to rejoice and give thanks.  With every circumstance there is a season of reason behind it. Whatever season you may be in, remember to Eat, Drink, and be Merry, life is more than just the sum of our experiences and circumstances but something greater and beyond us.  Keeping this in perspective will create a sense of calm and peace that will add to your mind and body’s well-being.

For those in a Season of searching, embracing, or planting, here are a few time pieces that will capture the moment and let friends and families see beauty that is in your life.
