Glad to be back again this week and\u00a0talking about a very trendy topic for weddings: Eco Friendly or \u201cGreen\u201d\u00a0Weddings. In the past few years the idea of conservation of our environment has\u00a0grown in popularity and it has now moved into the wedding industry and is on the\u00a0cusp of hitting its full stride. Many couples express interest in having an\u00a0environmentally friendly wedding, so I will be showing you some different ideas\u00a0on how you can create an eco-friendly wedding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/hansonellis.com\/images\/blog-eco-wedding-multiple.jpg\" width=\"398\" height=\"558\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Weddings traditionally are filled with paper products of\u00a0one time use.\u00a0Wedding invitations, save the dates, programs, signs, you name it!\u00a0This is one of the easiest ways to make your special day a little more\u00a0eco-friendly. Simply chose recycled paper to print on and encourage guests to\u00a0recycle them when they are planning to throw them out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/hansonellis.com\/images\/blog-eco-wedding-invite.jpg\" width=\"241\" height=\"465\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">One of the most essential wedding decorations with endless\u00a0eco-friendly options are the centerpieces. Instead of flowers for the\u00a0centerpiece use a potted plant and encourage the guests to take them home, plant\u00a0them, and send you the pictures after a year for a great picture college. It\u00a0would be your very own \u201cOur Love Grows\u201d photo collection! Another great idea is\u00a0to hollow out a watermelon and serve fresh fruit on each table for a colorful\u00a0and delicious centerpiece that encourages guests to snack the night away.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/hansonellis.com\/images\/blog-eco-wedding-fruit.jpg\" width=\"368\" height=\"368\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Wedding favors are by far the easiest wedding aspect that\u00a0you can be creative and eco-friendly. One couple I knew recently gave out a\u00a0custom made pouch with their names personalized on the outside and seeds for\u00a0guests to plant on the inside and they were a huge hit. Another idea is to think\u00a0natural. Use real wood on coaster favors, real dried starfish for a beach\u00a0wedding, etc. One of the most unique ideas I have seen is our personalized beans\u00a0that are plantable and grow a message on the plant itself once they sprout.
